EA K League Player of the Month Award for May 2024 to be voted on by fans starting on May 13
Fan voting for the EA SPORTS K LEAGUE Player Of The Month for May 2024 will be open for four days from Thursday, May 13th through Sunday, May 16th.
The EA SPORTS K League Player of the Month award is presented by the Korea Professional Football Association (KPA) and Electronic Arts (EA), the official videogame partner of the K League, to the player who performs the best each month. The award is recognized not only in the K League, but also in major European leagues such as the Premier League, La Liga, Bundesliga, and Ligue 1.
The four nominees for the Player of the Month Award are selected by a first round of voting by the Federation’s TSG Technical Committee (60%), followed by a second round of voting by K League fans (25%) and EA FC Online (“FC Online”) users (15%), with the results of the first and second rounds combined to determine the winner. The winner of the Player of the Month Award will receive a trophy and a Player of the Month patch on their jersey for the season.
The May Player of the Month award is based on performances in K League 1 matches from Rounds 10-15 and Round 8 consecutive matches in May, resulting in nominations for Kim Dong-joon (Jeju), Yago (Gangwon), Lee Seung-woo (Suwon FC), and Cho Hyun-woo (Ulsan).
Jeju’s Kim kept clean sheets against Daegu in Round 11, Suwon FC in Round 14, and Daejeon in Round 15 to lead his team to victory. Kim also played full-time in all six matches in May, conceding just five goals.
Kangwon Yago played in all games between rounds 10 and 15, scoring 먹튀검증 three goals and adding one assist. With seven goals and one assist this season, Yago is tied with Lee Sang-heon (eight) for the most offensive points on the team, with half of his total coming in May alone.
Suwon FC’s Lee Seung-woo scored four goals in May alone, including one against Gangwon in Round 11, two against Jeonbuk in Round 12, and one against Daegu in Round 15. As a result, Lee is tied for second on the K League 1’s all-time goalscoring list with eight goals.
Ulsan’s Cho Hyun-woo played in every match from Rounds 10 to 15 in May, as well as the round-robin match in Round 8, and kept a clean sheet against Seoul in Round 11. Cho Hyun-woo had a stellar month of May, earning Best 11 and Best 12 in Round 11 and 토토사이트 MVP in Round 11.
Meanwhile, K League fans can vote for the Player of the Month award through the official K League application ‘Kick’. Fans who want to vote can register on the Kick application and vote once a day from Thursday, May 13th through Sunday, May 16th, for a total of four times. FC Online users can only vote once per account during the same period.
